XIMB Admission Registration

Instructions for PGDRM Admission Application

ELIGIBILITY:
Minimum three-year Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline, from a recognised University. Final year degree students, who expect to complete their final examinations and other requirements for obtaining the degree by June 15, 2010, may also apply.

Admission Test (IRMA Test or XAT): Apply and appear for one of the following written tests:

1) The test to be conducted by Institute of Rural Management, Anand (www.irma.ac.in), on 8^th November 2009 (refer to IRMA advertisement in newspapers),

OR 2) the XAT to be conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur (www.xlri.edu) on 3^rd January 2010.

Registering for IRMA test or XAT is a prerequisite for applying to XIMB's PGPRM programme.


How to Apply to XIMB:
Step 1:	Apply separately for XIMB's PGDRM programme, by clicking on PGDRM Registration given in the menu. Then fill in the required data and "submit".
Step 2:	Take a print out of the Payment Advice form.
Step 3:	Pay the application fee in any one of the following methods: a) Deposit Rs.1000/-in cash, from any Core branch of State Bank of India, into the Current A/c No. 30834687536 of XIM, Bhubaneswar using Core Banking Services; OR b) Get a demand draft for Rs.1000/- in favour of "Xavier Institute of Management", and payable at Bhubaneswar.
Step 4:	Send the completed payment advice form along with the original bank remittance slip (counterfoil) or Demand Draft to: The Admissions Office, Xavier Institute of Management, Xavier Square, Bhubaneswar- 751 013.

On receipt of the payment/payment details and the payment advice form (with photograph & signature), XIMB admissions office will authenticate the payment and a computer generated email confirmation will be sent to your email id regarding acceptance of your online application. Subsequently, the information Bulletin-2010 will be mailed to you to the present address given in the online form.

SELECTION PROCESS:
Candidates short-listed on the basis of written test (IRMA Test or XAT) scores will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview at Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata or Mumbai. Candidates will have to meet their own travel expenses.

The final selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in the written test, the Group Discussion & Personal Interview, and will take into account the past academic record and relevant work experience.
