1. What is the last date for applying to XIMB
The extended last date for PGDM-PT Registration is December 21, 2009 and for receiving the application fee along with the completed Payment Advice Form at XIMB is December 30, 2009. |
2. I am located in a remote place without proper Internet facilities. Can I be exempted from online application?
No, XIMB applications are available online only. There are no paper-based applications for admission to XIMB. |
3. I want to apply for more than one programme at XIMB.
Yes, you can apply for more than one programme at XIMB, but you have to apply online separately and pay for each programme. You may note that the different programmes have different admission criteria. |
4. I want to apply for XIMB’ s PGDM-PT. Do I need to appear for any Test?
No, there is no entrance test for admission to XIMB’ s PGDM-PT course. Final selection for admission will be on the basis of Personal Interview of all eligible applicants. |
5. I do not have 50% in graduation. Am I eligible for your three year PGDM-PT Course?
If you have cleared the undergraduate degree you are eligible to apply. |
6. I have completed AMIE after my diploma, but I have not completed any other Bachelor’s degree. Am I eligible to apply?
Yes, you are eligible to apply as AMIE qualification is treated as equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree. |
7. I will have a total work experience of more than three years by July 2010, but in different organisations. Am I eligible to apply?
If you have full-time work experience of at least three years in total, in any number of organisations, you are eligible to apply. |
8. I was working full-time while continuing my graduation in distance learning mode. Is my work experience during period going to be considered?
Full-time work experience while undergoing part-time studies will be calculated, subject to meeting the minimum age requirement for applying to the PGDM-PT course. |
9. I have registered online and sent the DD. What is the next step?
Congratulations on completing the formalities for applying to XIMB. Upon receipt of payment at XIMB, you will receive an email confirming the acceptance of your XIMB application. If you are found eligible you will receive the interview call letter by February 2006. |
10. I registered online, but sent my DD without enclosing the payment advice. What do I do now?
Please send the payment advice immediately to XIMB, with the reference of your DD details. |
11. I filled up the form online and have taken the DD also. I do not have access to a printer to print the payment advice. What do I do?
You can send the DD with your XIMB ID and mailing address clearly written, putting your signature and your photograph affixed on a plain white sheet. |
12. What is the fee structure for the programme?
The total course fee, including boarding & lodging while attending classes on campus, for three years will be about Rs.5.8 lakhs. The detailed fee structure is available in the bulletin. |
