1. What is the last date to apply for MBA-RM?

    The last date to fill up the online application form is December 24, 2014 and for receiving application fee along with Payment Advice Form at XIMB it is December 24, 2014.
2. I want to apply for more than one program at XIMB, XUB. What is the process?

    Yes, you can apply for more than one program at XIMB, XUB, but you will have to choose the program and test options accordingly in the final section (Program Details) of the online application form. You can also apply for one program through different tests (e.g. XAT, CAT, GMAT and X-GMAT) by filling the Program Details section accordingly. The total application fee will be calculated automatically.
3. How much is the application fee?

    The application fee is Rs. 1300/- for the first choice/option, Rs.700/- for the second, and Rs.500/- each for every subsequent program or test option. Rs. 800/- will be extra for choosing X-GMAT.
4. I want to download Payment Advice (PA) form again as I forgot to download it after registration. How can I get it now?

    Login with your XUB ID and password and click on "Download PA Form" given on the left menu on the page.
5. I am located in a remote place without proper Internet facilities. Can I be exempted from online application?

    No, XIMB, XUB application form can be filled up through online method only.
6. I want to apply only to XIMB. Do I need to apply for XAT or CAT or GMAT?

    Yes, you have to apply for XAT or CAT or GMAT in time to be eligible to apply for admission to XIMB's MBA-RM programme, if not opting for X-GMAT. X-GMAT is an online test to be conducted by Xavier University, only at Bhubaneswar in January 2015. XIMB will shortlist candidates for admission interview based on their performance in XAT-2015, or CAT-2014, or GMAT taken in 2013 or 2014, or X-GMAT-2015.
7. I could not opt for XIMB, XUB while registering for XAT. Can I apply to XIMB, XUB now?

    Yes, you can apply to XIMB, XUB even if you have not chosen XIMB in your XAT application.
8. I have already registered and paid for XAT and selected XIMB in the XAT application. Do I need to apply and pay separately to XIMB, XUB?

    Yes, you have to apply (online) separately and pay separately to XIMB, XUB to be considered for admission to the program offered by XIMB, XUB.
9. I am a BA final year student of Economics (Honors). I will get 55% marks in the honors subject, but considering pass courses I will not get 55% in aggregate. Am I eligible for your two year MBA program?

    No, you need to have secured minimum 55% marks in aggregate, which takes into account all mandatory papers of graduation course.
10. I have applied online and sent the payment proof along with Payment Advice Form to XIMB. What is the next step?

    Congratulations on completing the formalities for applying to XIMB, XUB. Upon receipt and processing of payment details at XIMB, you will receive an email confirming the acceptance of your XIMB, XUB application form.

1. What is the fee structure for the program?

    The total program fee for 2-year MBA-RM will be Rs. 10.00 lakhs, to be paid in 2 annual installments. The hostel expenses will be extra (about Rs. 1.00 lakh).
2. What is the total number of seats for MBA-RM?

    The approved intake capacity is 120 seats for full-time MBA-RM. All seats are under XAT-2015, CAT-2014, GMAT or X-GMAT.
3. What is the placement scenario MBA-RM?

    There is a placement cell, which arranges for the campus recruitment of all students. The placement week is normally around the first week of January, when various companies are invited to the XIMB campus to recruit the students. About 30-35 companies visit the campus every year. The highest domestic salary offered to the batch of 2014 was Rs. 11.1 lakhs p.a. and the average salary was Rs.6.25 lakhs p.a. You may also refer to our home page for more details.
4. What are the infrastructure facilities at XUB?

    XUB has all the facilities befitting a world-class B-School. The new campus at Kurki, which is about 12 kms away from the Bhubaneswar Air Port, is situated in a 35 acres well-maintained compact campus. It houses air-conditioned classrooms; computerized, networked and spacious library with many books and subscribing to over 11000 journals (including electronic journals) etc.

    The digitalized campus is fully Wi-Fi connecting the entire academic facilities, studentsí hostel and faculty residences providing uninterrupted Internet access.

    The gents hostels have 292 single rooms and ladies hostel has 148 single rooms and 12 double rooms, with LAN nodes in every hostel room. The recreational facilities include cricket & soccer fields, floodlit basketball & lawn tennis courts, badminton hall etc.

5. What is XIMB ranking?

    Different B-School surveys have placed XIMB among the top B-Schools in the country. XIMB was ranked14th in India by Outlook B-School Survey-2013, and placed in Super League -2 of AIMA B-School Survey 2013.
6. What about the campus life at XUB?

    Being a residential program, there are separate hostels for gents and ladies. A majority of boys and girls are given single rooms. A studentsí committee manages the hostel mess.

    To take care of the requirements of the students, hostels also provide round the clock photocopying and laser printing facilities and cafeteria. There are several washing machines for students use.

7. What are the educational loan options available to XUB students?

    A good number of present students have availed educational loans from either nationalized banks or private banks. SBI is the major bank providing study loans to XIMB students. SBI, Fortune Tower Branch, Bhubaneswar has processed maximum number of loan applications. The study loans normally cover the course fee, hostel expenses and cost of individual computer, and are available to all those who need subject to meeting the banks criteria.

    The facilities include deferred payment options, in which repayment starts after the candidates start earning etc. However the agreement is between the bank and the student directly.

8. More about Xavier University?

    The Xavier School of HRM is under the Xavier University, Bhubaneswar, which was created by the Xavier University, Odisha Act, 2013.
9. Who runs the University?

    XUB is managed by Jesuit Fathers (the Christian group, who runs many renowned educational institutions across the globe including XLRI, St. Xavierís Colleges at Mumbai & Kolkata, Loyola College etc. in India), under a Board of Governors with representation from Government of Odisha.
10. What about the faculty strength at XUB?

    There are 64 full-time faculty members in XIMB & XUB, apart from several visiting faculty members forming a strong base to its intellectual capital.
