XIMB Admission Registration

Instructions for PGDM-RM Application Form

ELIGIBILITY:
Minimum three-year Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline, with at least 50% marks in aggregate, from a recognized university/deemed university. Final year degree students, who expect to complete their final examinations and other requirements for obtaining the degree by June 15, 2013, can also apply.

Admission Test:
Apply and appear for any one of the following written tests: OR

1) XAT to be conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur on 6 January 2013,

2) CAT to be conducted by IIMs during 11 October – 6 November 2012.

Applicants are required to follow the XAT/CAT advertisements respectively and apply in time.

Registering for XAT or CAT is a prerequisite for applying to XIMB's PGDM-RM programme.


How to Apply to XIMB:
Step 1:	Fill up the "Personal Details/Academic Details/Professional Details and upload your photo & signature" (in the Next page) to create and receive by email a unique XIMB ID and Password for applying to XIMB. If you have already received your XIMB ID and Password, then login as per Step 2.
Step 2:	Login with your XIMB ID and Password.
Step 3:	Choose the programme you want to apply for and fill up the final part (Programme Details) of the application form and Submit.
Step 4:	Take a print out of the Payment Advice Form.
Step 5:	Pay the application fee as instructed in the Payment Advice Form. (Application fee is Rs.1000/- for one programme, and Rs.500/- each for every additional programme/admission test.)
Step 6:	Send the Payment Advice Form along with the application fee payment instrument/proof to: The Admissions Office, Xavier Institute of Management, Xavier Square, Bhubaneswar- 751 013.

On receipt of the payment/payment details and the Payment Advice Form, XIMB admissions office will authenticate the payment and a computer generated email confirmation will reach you regarding acceptance of your online application form. Subsequently, the information Bulletin-2013 will be mailed to you to the present address given in the online form.

SELECTION PROCESS:
Candidates short-listed on the basis of written test (XAT or CAT) scores will be called for Writing Ability Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview at Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata or Mumbai. Candidates will have to meet their own travel expenses for attending the interview session.

The final selection will be based on the candidate's performance in the written test, Writing Ability Test, the Group Discussion & Personal Interview, and will take into account the past academic record and relevant work experience.

The extended last date to fill up the application form (via XAT only) is December 26, 2012.
